What are the types of health?
Health is a state of complete physical, psychological, social, and spiritual well-being. Doctors have unanimously agreed that medicine is medicine: preserving health over the healthy and restoring health to patients with medication and rehabilitation.
The World Health Organization has formulated its definition of health as: “complete physical, psychological and social well-being, not just the absence of disease or disability.” Health has three types:
1. Physical Health:
It is related to the physical aspect, and to achieve it one should not eat anything that harms the body, and it is also necessary to avoid the habits that cause its weakness and illness.
2. Mental Health:
It is related to the mental and intellectual aspect of the human being, and it must be preserved, by avoiding everything that leads to its destruction or obstruction. Like alcohol and drugs.
A healthy mental health is not something that you possess, but something that you do, so in order to be mentally correct, you must evaluate and accept yourself, and this means:
To feel important to yourself, to take care of yourself, to love and not hate yourself, and to take care of your physical health.
To eat well, sleep well, stay in shape, and enjoy yourself as God has permitted you.
To see yourself as a valuable person in your own right; It should not be a copy of anyone, but establish yourself with the help of God, and then through sincere, persistent work.
To judge yourself based on moderate standards, and not to set impossible goals for yourself; For example: “I have to be excellent in everything I do.” Then you punish yourself when you do not achieve these goals!
3. Psychological Health:
Mental health is related to the spiritual aspect of the human being. By believing in God and piety, performing various acts of worship, and adhering to good morals; The true believer does not know mental illnesses a way to him, because he is not afraid of disease, poverty, or calamities, because he knows that the provider is God, and that he will not befall him except what is destined for him.
Neither mental health nor physical health can exist in isolation (a healthy mind in a healthy body, and vice versa). Rather, the physical and psychological functions must depend on each other.
